I currently work as an intervention teacher whose primary responsibility is to help students achieve academic success through one-on-one tutoring. I've become exceptionally talented in the development of educational strategies designed to transform a struggling student into an accomplished and self-confident student. I believe students feel accomplished when they become engaged in their learning methods and techniques. I focus on a child's individual learning style and weaknesses, and guide them outside of their comfort zone to stretch their capabilities beyond what they originally believed was feasible. My students receive my full attention, which is a great improvement from the lack of attention they may receive in the classroom.As a graduate from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Computer Science, I'm a qualified tutor to teach many subjects, including Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Gifted Students Studies, Grammar, Computer Science, Study and Organizational Skills, English, and Test Preparation.I'm a lifelong learner and enjoy continuing my academic career through additional education courses. I also spend downtime at the lake trying to catch the big one or just relaxing. I'm a kid at heart and enjoy the challenge of beating the latest video game.
